Day 117

Being a human #117 Find truth and stand on it. Don’t let anyone push you off. Don’t sugar coat it. Don’t make excuses for it. Don’t water it down. Often the truth is not liked by the masses. Just because a lie is popular doesn’t make it true. Truth is unchanged by time or opinion.

Day 98

What happens when you throw caution to the wind and watch it blow away? Do that thing you have been thinking about forever. Jump off that what if train. Maybe you fall face first in the dirt. Maybe you don’t. One thing I know for sure, if you don’t jump you will never know.

Here Comes a New Begining

Walk in to 2021 with a clear plan. Do not carry with you any resentment or pain of the past. If you owe me, forget it, we’re square. I never loan, only give and don’t expect a repayment. If you wronged me, I forgave you already. If you’re angry with me, I’ve let it go.…… Continue reading Here Comes a New Begining

This is Happy

This is happy me. I like happy me. I have been happy me off and on in my life, however I have been consistently happy for almost five years now. Even at Christmas time there is an overwhelming feeling that sending cards is not a priority anymore. It is truly a dying art. I wonder if…… Continue reading I ❤️ Mail

Where Are you From?

When someone asks me where I am from mostly I say Florida since it feels most like home.…… Continue reading Where Are you From?

Traditionally I’m Over It

I want to skip the holiday this week. That would be selfish. Americans love their USA holidays. It’s so much stress and does not fit into my focused simple life plan. My children don’t like traditional Thanksgiving food. Often we serve alternative meals. This year we are, for the first time, going to a restaurant…… Continue reading Traditionally I’m Over It

It’s so easy…

Spending money is so easy. Eating that decadent dessert is so easy. Sleeping later is so easy. Speaking negatively about yourself is so easy. Self discipline is not impossible. It does take work. Being a decent human takes continual attention. If you drop your guard even a little, you find yourself three steps back on…… Continue reading It’s so easy…
