If you don’t slow yourself down life has a way of doing it for you. Even if the timing is bad, rest when you need it. Because when life throws something at you to slow you down the time it happens is always inconvenient. Pick up a book and relax a minute.

Time Flew
Where does the time go? The world keeps rotating and we keep living. One day we look up and recognize nothing. Yet, we were here when it all happened. Change happens most often in small starts and stops. Don’t blink.
Waiting
Sometimes you have to wait. Waiting is not fun if you think it’s not fun. It’s all in your head. Patience can be fun if you set your mind to it. Now once you figure that out, let me know how you did it. I am not patient at all.
Best Times
Easy like Sunday…..Some of the best time spent is with friends doing nothing.
I can’t keep track.
Days run together like streams converging in the river. I can’t remember what day it is or what my name is. My husband says, “I got you.” Suddenly, all is right in the world.
Do Nothing
Sometimes the best thing you can do for your person is nothing. Just spend time together in the same breathing space, doing individual things and occasionally chatting. Show your love by being present and in the moments with the human you like best.
Nothing ventured…
If you want to succeed with anything you have to take steps. Even tiny steps in the right direction is progress. One sure way to fail is refusing to try. If a project is worth your time thinking about it, consider if it is worth trying. Start somewhere.
