Day 96

Adulting not as much fun as my teenage self thought it would be. Adulting is difficult on a good day when everything is working out like it should. It seems impossible when it isn’t going at all like you thought. I get up, show up and step up. Y’all, I’m tired. Deep in my core…

Day 95

Loving a person doesn’t make them a good human. Giving a person kindness and showing them that they are loved can sometimes cause goodness to manifest in a human. Sometimes a bad human is just a bad person no matter how much they are loved or how kind you are to them. Only divine love…

Day 78
Actions speak a louder truth than the truth you speak with your voice. Show me what is important to you by what you do, not what you say. Show me who you really are, don’t tell me.

Day 76

Saint Patrick was no saint. There really aren’t saints. People are inherently bad. We are as a species self centered. Most of what motivates humans is the need to survive. It takes ruling over your natural self with your spiritual self to be a saintly human. It’s not easy to be a nice human. Do…

Day 68

Be kind when dealing with older humans. It’s very easy for them to get confused. Don’t assume that because they misremembered something that they have dementia. They may just be tired or distracted. Be respectful. One day you will be the old person.

Day 57

Life does weird things to your physical self. The food we eat, air we breathe, and other planetary factors affect humans in good and bad ways. Drink more water. Eat less junk. Rest when you’re tired. Go barefoot when you can. Do whatever is possible to keep your physical self healthy. Easier said than done.

Day 22

Writer’s Log Day 22… Finished the draft of Prayer After Prayer, a new book I’m working on. Handed off to my first editor, AKA my mother. She gets a first look at all my work. Well, most of it. Why? Well, she’s my mother. Do you have a Mom? I mean you must since you…

Day 21

Today we officially started house hunting. We are a large family of seven in a shoe box house. I am sort of deflated. When we find a house that fits our family it doesn’t fit our budget. If it fits the budget the house is always missing something. We have been renting the shoe box…

Day 13

Life is a cake walk for some and digging ditches for others. I’ve been at both ends of the line. Today life is amazing, less ditches and more cake. If I could telepathically send all my life experience and common sense to my children and grandchildren that would be great. How do you share experience…

Day 10

I have noticed that I could probably wear a different dress or skirt for a month maybe longer and not wear the same one twice. My husband has about 1/4 the amount of pants in comparison. Where as we both have enough shirts, T-shirts, business casual shirts, to wear for about three months without a…
