Helping Hands

I am a bit nervous about my carpal tunnel surgery on Friday. I know it is a simple procedure, but hey, I only have two hands.

I should not to miss a day of publishing the Thought of the Day. I hired a transcriptionist to do the typing. This should be fun. I don’t consider myself a micromanager, however I am a bit of a perfectionist. So, we will see how it goes.

Most of us have a streak of perfectionism in us. Artists, musicians and writers are the worst. I have seen corporate types with it in spades too though. It makes it difficult for us to ask for and accept help from others.

Life has a way of placing us where we must ask for help from time to time. We might not like it, but help is sometimes a necessity.
