When I was a child May Day was a fun event. There were festivals, flowers, sweet treats, dances, and May poles. I remember it being a celebration of Spring. I wonder what happened to May Day fun? I don’t hear of that anymore.
In any case, today is beautiful where I am. The sun is shining. There is a light breeze and birds are chirping. Spring is here in Florida. My spirit is light and I am happy.
It isn’t that I have no stress or adult things to deal with today. I could focus on the negative. I choose not.
Happiness is a matter of choice. Today, on this May Day, I choose to be happy.
I hope it is a pretty Spring day where you are too. Happiness is up to you.
