I had grand plans for the weekend. I took off work Friday and today to have a long weekend. I planned so many things that I wanted to get accomplished, but I got a total of two things completed from a long mental list.
I can’t help but to laugh.
I could have gotten all upset about it. I almost did get huffy about one important thing, but really, what’s the point?
Would getting upset fix it? Will getting angry change the unexpected things that knocked my plan off the rail? No, it wouldn’t change a thing.
Life has no regards to your well thought out plans and itineraries.
When life happens and disrupts your plans, you will be happier if you simply adjust and roll with what is, do what you can and let go of what is out of your control.
