What’s one habit that has improved your life the most?
I’ve stopped doom scrolling, and now I use social media more intentionally. I reply to a friend’s message or look up a topic I’m curious about. It feels good to find some productive ways to use social media.
I have banned online shopping particularly shopping that originated from social media. It’s all crap we don’t need.
I’m not here to lecture you about the downsides of social media—you probably already know it’s not great for your mental health. The temptation to scroll endlessly can be really tough to resist. When it gets overwhelming, I find it helpful to step away for a bit. Just put your phone down and take a walk—that little break can make a big difference.
