We bring pain to ourselves.

Yes things hurt. We get hurt by others and we get physical pain inflicted on us by things we can not control.

However, there are so many things that we do that cause ourselves pain. From jobs we choose to lack of care to our bodies and minds.

We must be mindful of what we do to ourselves that causes pain. If we eliminate as much self inflicted pain as we can, handling pain caused from external sources will be easier. Do what you can to limit physical or mental pain.

Be kind to yourself.
