instant communication. What if we had no way to communicate as things happen? I think about the past and how long it took information to travel. Often if it didn’t happen close to home you never knew it. Now, we can hear about things almost in real time.
Think about the way you communicate with family. I love that I can text and call my family on a whim to make sure everyone I love is safe.
What would you do if you couldn’t talk to the ones you love?
Many people can’t. Communication is not perfect on a good day but add the issue of no access to technology and staying in touch is almost nonexistent.
Then there is mailing paper letters, which I very much enjoy. I wish people did more old fashioned letter writing.
Today I am simply thankful for connections of communication.
