I have always wanted to know the why of things. Maybe that is what led me to become a reference librarian and writer. I will research something for days, weeks even. Sometimes just so I can find out that it is a real thing. Life and humans are so much more than what we know. The entire universe is such a mystery. We should be exploring everything all the time.

My current research project is about Synesthesia. Synesthesia is a fancy term for when a human experiences one of the senses through another. For example, when you hear music, but you see colors and shapes. Taste something and hear a sound. As Spock would say, “fascinating”.
