Have you given much thought to who is in your circle or tribe? I like both metaphors. I see my tribe as like minded people who I may or may not see every day. My tribe are mostly friends not family. Included are my online friends.
My circle are the ones closer to me, my loved ones who are family and not. Your circle is who is closest to you. Often you choose these humans.
Do you surround yourself with people who are like minded as you are (tribe)? Do you have a person who is completely the yang to your yin (circle)? What about the people you do not get to choose (tribe and circle)? The ones that fate, circumstance or God places in your life (again both)?
Here is the other thing, your circle and tribe will change as life takes you on your journey. The question is will you let go of those who are not meant to travel with you or will you have to be pruned off them when they turn to go?
You may find your circle empty but rarely will your tribe be empty. That is perfectly acceptable for a time.
Some will stay. Some will go. Sometimes at your choosing sometimes not.
Our circle should be people who love us unconditionally and accept us for who we are despite our differences. While others in our tribe and circle are there to challenge us into growth, give us advice and to create ripples in our timeline.
