Is expecting people to be nice to each other too much to ask?
Well, apparently it is too much. I just want people to treat others around them with respect. I am not asking that everyone love each other. Hell, you don’t even have to like each other.
Can you at least be nice?
It takes thirty seconds to smile and say one nice thing to another person.
Why must people be so sarcastic when someone makes a comment?
Also, whatever happened to if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything?
Why is it that even the person taking my coffee order through the drive-through seems to have an attitude?
C’mon.
Hold the door.
Let the person with one item go first at the check out counter.
Hey, here’s an idea, invite the person you call your hater on social media to lunch, your treat. Find out why they are so mean.
The proper response to thank you is not, “No problem”. A simple “You’re welcome” will do.
I don’t know what happened to being polite and having manners.
This week alone I have had a door closed in my face, been told “no problem” at least three times, and spoken too as if I was less than human.
Rudeness has become the norm. Manners and courtesy is no longer a priority.
Take a step back, y’all.
Are you using the manners your momma taught you?
No?
Why not?
Be nice.
