If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
I would ban the word “okay” and while I’m at it I will ban the tone that is used with it. Instead of using that lazy word use the word that means the same thing, “Yes”. My teenagers use okay as a passive aggressive answer when they either don’t care about what someone is saying to them or when they have tuned out of the conversation. Just stop using it, please.
