If you are an author you need an editor. As indie authors my husband and I rely heavily on a good editor. Just read over my posts that I have edited myself…see? Told you.

We writers have this illusion that we can write and edit our own work. Maybe some writers are that good. Most of us are not. When you write you are not only choosing words but working a plot, listening to character voice, looking at how the scene feels and so much more. Grammar? Oh yeah that too!

So take this bit of advice for free and spend your money where it counts…hire a good editor.
